You want to enjoy a relentless success in what you do? You must have an idea and that idea you will begin with a LAUNCH process. You will have to see an opportunity behind which you can put in personal as well as other accessible resources to capitalize on that idea of yours. This stage demands that you must be comfortable with experimentation and iteration.
Then you advance to the next success phase, which is RUMP UP. This is the phase where you bring your idea to scale. You will mobilise the appropriate resources at the right time and in right standards so as to deliver on the promise of the idea.
If you are fortunate, you just glide into the EXPLOITATION phase of your idea. You capture share, you capture profits. But then, other people now notice you well and start to try your idea and compete with you. If your advantage will not be watered down, you will have to heighten your efficiency, but also start thinking of moving to the next phase.
That next phase is RECONFIGURATION. This phase requires that you are not afraid to radically rethink your initial idea and mobilize new resources. You forge ahead or, even, consider a DISENGAGEMENT process by which you move into the next generation ideas. To do this, however, you really will be a tough-minded innovator.
